Bug League Recruits Animation

High-energy 3D CGI animated comedy in the style of a Pixar-quality blockbuster short — exaggerated squash-and-stretch physics, vibrant colors, dynamic camera (fast whip pans, Dutch tilts, speed-ramp dolly-ins). Rain-slicked Gotham-like rooftop at night, then dawn.

MULTI-SHOT SEQUENCE, ~30 seconds:

Shot 1 (0-7s): Night, rain, dramatic thunder. The red bug vigilante perches broodily on a stone gargoyle, cape-wings spread, lightning flashing. He rasps in his deepest voice: "I am the night. I am vengeance." A pigeon lands on his antenna. He instantly breaks character, voice going normal and fast: "Okay who let Gary in, we talked about this—" He swats at it, slips comically, catches the gargoyle.

Shot 2 (7-14s): The huge blue tank hero walks calmly into frame carrying a trash-can lid like a shield. Without hurry he hurls it — RICOCHET, RICOCHET, RICOCHET off three chimneys and it lands perfectly on the pigeon's head like a helmet. Blue says warmly: "On your left." Bug, rubbing his head: "We need to talk about your warning system."

Shot 3 (14-23s): Dawn breaks golden. They stand back to back on the rooftop edge as alarm bells ring below — a giant robotic cat-shaped blimp rises over the city (villain tease). Bug spreads his wings heroically, trying to sound epic again: "I can buzz all day." Blue pats his shoulder, dead serious: "So that's it? We're some kind of Bug League?" Bug gasps with delight: "THAT'S the name?! I've been workshopping for WEEKS—"

Shot 4 (23-30s): Both leap off the roof in dramatic slow-motion toward camera, wings buzzing, cape flapping, city lights behind — then smash cut to them crashing through a laundry line and emerging wearing pajama pants and a bra as capes. Freeze frame mid-run. Title card slams in: "BUG LEAGUE".

Audio: moody dark-knight style score that keeps getting interrupted by comedic stings, thunder, wing-buzz SFX, trash-lid ricochet clanks, clear characterful voices — deep gravelly voice for the bug vigilante that cracks into rapid quips, slow warm baritone for the blue tank. Lips sync only to scripted lines.
