Corporal Vale. Young, sunburned, dust along the jaw, wearing tan fatigues and a plate carrier with no insignia. A rifle hangs low on its sling. One palm is raised. Three soldiers stand behind concrete barriers and sandbags. An unmarked white pickup crawls up the road, with the windshield made opaque by dust.

Setting: A single lane dirt road running through flat scrubland, with a low ridge in the background. The time is late afternoon moving toward dusk. Wind comes from screen left. The sun sits low on screen right.

Visual style: Frontline documentary realism. Show sweat pushing through dust, the real weight of equipment, deep shadows, sensor noise, and natural motion blur. Keep it raw and believable. No CGI look, no HDR look, and no beauty filter.
