[CHARACTERS] The Boy: ordinary young man around 20, short messy brown hair, dirty grey hoodie and jeans, scraped face, sprinting in pure panic, unarmed. [TIMELINE] [0:00–3] Side tracking shot, left to right — The Boy sprints rightward down the street toward the distant barricade, the 2 Aliens bursting through smoke behind him on the left, gaining ground. [3–6] Side tracking continues — The Survivors at the barricade on the right rise and take aim past The Boy, the 2 Aliens closing in behind him on the left, one leaping over a flipped car. [6–9] Side tracking continues — The Survivors open fire from the right, bullets cracking past The Boy on both sides as he keeps running right, sparks off wrecked cars, the lead Alien stumbling as rounds punch into its body. [9–12] Reverse angle from behind the barricade — The Boy dives over a car hood into cover among The Survivors as they unload everything, the sniper dropping the lead Alien mid-leap in a spray of dark fluid. [12–15] Slow push-in over the barricade — the second Alien skids to a stop in the haze down the street, shrieks, and retreats into the smoke, The Survivors holding aim, The Boy panting against the car beside them.

[SFX] Pounding alien footsteps, ragged breathing, deafening mixed gunfire, bullet cracks and ricochets, sniper shot echo, alien shriek, falling ash silence at the end.

[MUSIC] Tense low brass and string ostinato building, cutting out at the shriek, single sustained note over the final shot.
