Friday Started Not As Per Plan

GIRL / MAIN CHARACTER: Young Korean woman in her early 20s, black wavy hair in a messy side ponytail, fitted pastel-blue top, loose white pajama pants, silver necklace, flat sandals. Natural makeup, realistic skin, consistent identity.

LOCATION: Peaceful Korean residential neighborhood on a warm summer morning—narrow concrete lane, small homes, old walls, plants, bicycles, utility poles, laundry and a nearby convenience store.

ACTION: She leaves home with a reusable shopping bag, locks the door and walks to the convenience store. She buys milk and bread, puts them in the bag and heads home.

Suddenly, one sandal starts coming apart. She stops, looks down, tries fixing the loose sole with her fingers, but it keeps flapping. Her friend filming her zooms in awkwardly as she tries again. She finds a piece of clean string near a cardboard box, wraps it around the sandal and ties it.

She takes one step—the sole immediately separates again. She looks at the camera in disbelief, then laughs. She removes the damaged sandal and holds it securely in her right hand, then removes the other sandal and holds both together in her right hand. Shopping bag stays in her left hand.

From this point onward, she remains barefoot and continuously carries both sandals in her right hand. They never fall, disappear, duplicate or return to her feet.

She walks home barefoot, passes the same neighbor, shrugs and laughs when they notice the sandals. She turns to the camera and says, “I wasn't even gone for ten minutes.” She laughs, reaches her house, unlocks the door and walks inside barefoot.

FINAL FRAME: Friend remains outside filming the open doorway. No sandals are left on the street.
