LIVE-ACTION CINEMATIC REALISM. Every frame is photographed — a real woman, real animals, a real forest — captured on a large-format film camera. Real skin with pores and capillary flush, real fur with individual hairs, real bark, real wool and leather. No illustration, no painterly surface, no drawn or animated look of any kind.
CHARACTER: the huntress from <<<551052bf-463f-4ff8-8416-4fdddeccf8fd>>> — identical face, plum hussar jacket with rose-gold frogging rows, oxblood-rose-cream tartan riding skirt caught up on the right side, brown leather riding gauntlets, tall brown boots, rose-gold oak-leaf and rosehip circlet across the brow, long loose hair with narrow temple braids, dark laminated recurve bow, back quiver with cream and oxblood fletching. Identical in every shot.
LOCATION: an ancient oak wood in late autumn — deep fallen leaf litter, mist lying in layers between the trunks, hard sun shafts breaking through the bare canopy.
STORY — 12 shots, one continuous unfolding event, relentless forward drive: 1. (0-1.5s) HOOK. LOW WIDE, camera whipping right past two foreground trunks. She bursts through frame at a crouch, bow low, leaf litter kicking up behind her boots. 2. (1.5-3s) EXTREME CLOSE, static. A fox's eyes behind a fern frond. The frond shivers, the eyes snap right, the nose twitches. 3. (3-4.5s) CLOSE, fast push-in. Two deer deep in the mist, heads jerking up, ears swivelling forward. 4. (4.5-6s) TRACKING MEDIUM, camera running alongside her at shoulder height. She moves fast between trunks, hair and skirt dragging in the air behind her, reaching back for an arrow. 5. (6-7.5s) LOW ANGLE CLOSE, camera swinging up her body. She plants her boot, straightens hard, and the bow comes up into frame. 6. (7.5-9s) MEDIUM from her left, camera orbiting behind her back. She nocks and hauls the string to full draw, the bow limbs bending. 7. (9-10.5s) MACRO, static, razor-shallow focus. Gloved fingers on the string, arrow shaft and fletching sharp, her eye and the circlet soft behind. The string creeps back the last centimetre. Everything goes still for one beat. 8. (10.5-12s) WIDE from behind and above the arrow. The release — the string blurs, the arrow tears away into the depth of the wood, trunks ripping past both sides. 9. (12-14s) MEDIUM CLOSE, camera tracking hard alongside the arrow in mid-air. The arrow comes apart in flight: its front half dissolving into a dense streaming ribbon of fine bright rose-pink glitter particles trailing behind it, each sparkle catching the light separately, only the fletched tail still intact. The arrow has no point. 10. (14-16s) WIDE, low angle looking straight up a bare oak trunk. The glitter stream slams into the bark and races up into the branches as a bright rose-pink wave. Loose glitter rains down through the sun shafts. 11. (16-18s) WIDE, low angle, camera pulling back fast. The bare branches burst into full rose-pink blossom, petals opening in a wave spreading outward from the impact point until the whole crown is blossom against the cool blue-grey wood. 12. (18-20s) FINALE. WIDE from behind her at shoulder height, camera rising. She lowers the bow, weight settling onto one hip, and smiles up at the blossoming tree. Animals break from cover all around her — the fox bounding through the litter, the two deer stepping forward, birds lifting off the branches, a hare mid-leap. Glitter still falling.
Vary the framing hard — extreme close, macro, medium, tracking, low wide — never repeat the same shot twice in a row. Every shot has camera movement except 2, 7 and 8, which are locked so the stillness lands. Keep every action instantly readable.
LOOK: photoreal live-action shot on large-format colour film with a 1950s three-strip Technicolor dye-transfer response. All foliage, grass and moss stay fully desaturated to a cool blue-grey slate so no green asserts itself anywhere in frame; the only saturated colours are the plum jacket, the oxblood-rose tartan, the rose-gold circlet, the fox's coat and the pink glitter and blossom. Highlights on mist and sun shafts roll into a milky maximum short of paper white; shadows fall near-black with a faint magenta lean. Skin reads warm and rouged at the cheekbone. Fine photochemical dye-transfer grain, soft halation on the brightest edges, dry matte texture on wool, leather and bark. 1950s live-action Technicolor feature photography — photographed, never drawn.
LIGHTING: low late-afternoon sun raking from back-camera-left at 4200K, hard-edged where it breaks the canopy and cutting solid shafts through the wood. Cooler sky bounce fills at 4:1. The sun rims her hair and the circlet. Ground haze at 45% density in layers from 10 metres depth, strobing past in the fast shots. The glitter carries its own light, each particle throwing a separate specular point and putting a rose bounce onto the bark and her face.
CAUSE AND EFFECT: the animals watch before anything happens, so their run at the end reads as a reaction. The glitter must visibly travel — arrow breaks apart, stream flies, stream strikes bark, blossom spreads from the point of impact. Never cut straight from the shot to an already-blossoming tree.
PHYSICS: real mass and real air. The bow limbs flex and snap, the string blurs on release. Glitter behaves as millions of separate solid particles on a fast air stream, each catching light individually, drifting down rather than diffusing into smoke. Petals unfold with weight. Leaf litter kicks up under boots and paws. Hair and skirt carry momentum through every direction change.
Give it real life — each moment drives into the next with clear cause and effect, never the stiff feeling of nudged still pictures. Tempo rises through the stalk, holds one hard beat at full draw, explodes through the flight, then opens out at the blossom. Something is always moving — mist, hair, fabric, falling glitter, drifting petals. No slow motion anywhere; every shot runs at real-time speed.
AUDIO: damp leaf litter under her boots, distant wood creak, a bird call far off. The dry creak of the bow at full draw. A sharp snap and hiss on release. A long dry crystalline shimmer as the glitter streams and scatters. A soft rush as the blossom opens. Animal movement through the litter, wings lifting. No music.
