Zombie Survival Scan Scene

Character (image) A scans items behind a convenience-store counter, blank hollow stare; uneasy customer nearby, flickering fluorescent lights, realistic Korean horror. Her fingers freeze on the scanner; repeated beeps, tense silence, cold atmosphere. She violently convulses against the counter; customer stumbles, snack rack falls. She collapses behind the counter; arm twitches at an unnatural angle. She rises again with slack face, wide unfocused eyes, and unnaturally bent joints. Customers scream and back away as others freeze in panic. Her jaw stretches impossibly wide as she lunges over the counter. She vaults over the counter with backward-bending limbs, moving unnaturally fast. She stands between the aisles, back to camera, head tilted at a broken angle, blocking the exit. A young customer looks up at her in terror, tears forming. Another customer freezes by the drink fridge, her reflection flickering in the glass. She charges down the narrow aisle, knocking shelves and cans down. Customers shove toward the exit; one trips over a basket and scrambles up. She crashes through a shelf display near the door, reaching for fleeing customers. She grabs a customer's jacket and yanks them back. A customer grabs the fire extinguisher and pulls the pin with shaking hands. White powder blasts her face; she recoils into the drink cooler. Another customer keeps her back with a mop. She knocks the mop aside and grabs the hot-water kettle; steam bursts as she recoils. She staggers toward the glass door, silhouetted by flickering neon. She crashes through the glass door into the empty night street, shards scattering. Powder-covered customers stare into the empty street through the shattered doorway. Final CCTV angle, quiet horror ending.
