A giant squid, wet and dark with huge thrashing arms, has wrapped itself around a speeding train that is carrying big barrels of oil, racing through open daylight. A long bridge is coming up ahead over a wide river. An army helicopter flies alongside the train, an armed soldier with a bazooka leaning out of the open door. Sound: roaring train, screaming chopper blades, groaning metal, squid arms slapping steel, radio voices.
Shot 1 (0–3s) — THE HOOK: Fast side tracking shot through the air. The giant squid's thick arms are wrapped all over the oil train, squeezing the carriages and the oil barrels as the train speeds down the track. The helicopter flies right beside it. The soldier in the open door points at the train driver and shouts on the radio: "YOU CAN'T SAVE THE TRAIN! WE HAVE TO BLOW IT! GET READY TO JUMP!"
Shot 2 (3–6s): Closer on the helicopter and the train engine. The bridge gets bigger ahead through the windshield. The pilot brings the helicopter down low and close, right next to the engine where the driver leans out of his cab. The soldier braces the bazooka and yells: "BRIDGE IS COMING! JUMP NOW — I'VE GOT YOU!"
Shot 3 (6–9s): On the train engine. The driver climbs out of his cab into the wind, the squid's arm whipping toward him, and he leaps off the train — catching the helicopter's landing skid underneath and hanging on with both hands, legs swinging over the rushing ground.
Shot 4 (9–13s) — BIG SLOW-MOTION MOMENT: The chopper swerves hard left and away as the squid-wrapped train rolls out onto the bridge over the river. The soldier fires the bazooka. Bullet time — the rocket flies across the frame in slow motion, smoke trailing behind it, straight into the oil train on the bridge. The driver hangs from the skid, watching. The rocket hits.
Shot 5 (13–15s): Time snaps back. The whole train and the giant squid go up in one massive rolling fireball on the bridge, oil barrels bursting, fire and smoke shooting into the sky. The helicopter pulls away from the blast, the driver still hanging from the skid. Cut.
